Forehead wrinkles are caused by a combination of factors including repeated facial expressions, aging, ultraviolet (UV) radiation exposure, dryness, eye fatigue, scalp stiffness, and poor posture. Facial expressions such as raising eyebrows, frowning, and squinting create muscle movements that deepen wrinkles over time. Aging leads to decreased collagen and elastin production, causing skin to thin and lose elasticity. UV rays damage collagen and elastin fibers, accelerating skin aging and wrinkle formation. Dry or dehydrated skin can also contribute to wrinkle development. Additionally, eye fatigue and stiff scalp muscles, often from excessive screen use or stress, may increase forehead wrinkles. Poor posture causing the head to tilt forward can exacerbate wrinkle formation. Genetics and lifestyle factors like smoking and stress also play roles.
