To take a screenshot on a Mac, you have several options depending on what you want to capture: Capture the entire screen:
- Press Shift + Command (⌘) + 3 simultaneously.
- The screenshot will be saved automatically to your desktop. If a thumbnail appears in the corner, you can click it to edit the screenshot or wait for it to save
Capture a portion of the screen:

- You can also set options like timer, save location, and whether to show the cursor
