why do cysts form

Cysts form primarily due to blockages in ducts or glands in the body, causing fluid, air, or other substances to accumulate in a sac-like structure. These blockages can result from clogged sebaceous glands, infections, injury, or chronic inflammation. The body may also form cysts as a protective mechanism to isolate abnormal cell growth, such as in some cancer-related cases.
