Moses' brother was Aaron. Aaron was the elder brother of Moses and served as his spokesperson during their mission to lead the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery. He was also the first high priest of the Israelites and played a key role alongside Moses in confronting Pharaoh and leading the Israelites during the Exodus. Aaron was three years older than Moses and stayed with the Hebrew people in Egypt while Moses was raised in Pharaoh's palace. Aaron and Moses worked closely together, with Aaron often acting as Moses' mouthpiece because Moses was said to have difficulty speaking well. Aaron also held significant religious responsibilities, including establishing the priesthood lineage among the Israelites.
