The company was founded in 2015 by political commentator Ben Shapiro and film director Jeremy Boreing, who are the original co-founders and majority owners through Bentkey Ventures. Caleb Robinson is also a co-founder and was CEO, but ownership is primarily with the original founders via Bentkey Ventures.
