David Hogg is an American gun control activist and political strategist born on April 12, 2000. He gained national prominence as a student survivor of the 2018 Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, and became a leading voice in the movement against gun violence. He co-founded the March for Our Lives movement, which advocates for gun control reforms, and has been involved in organizing protests, marches, and boycotts related to gun violence prevention
