The Mother of Thorns in Fortnite, also known as Doja Cat, can be found spawning at one of several pumpkin patch locations during the Fortnitemares event. Specifically, her spawn points include:
- West of Supernova Academy
- Lower area of Gourdy Gate
- Next to the red barn in the southern part of Freaky Fields
- Center of Viney Shafts
- South of Ranger's Ruin
- Center of Pumpkin Pass
When she is present at a location, a boss symbol (a skull with a crown) appears on the minimap, and she can be seen sitting on a thorny throne while music plays, making her identifiable. To defeat her and obtain the mythic Thorn Ripper weapon, players need to approach her with weapons and reduce her health to zero. After defeating her, she can also be revived as a hired NPC to join the player's team. These locations are somewhat random each match, so players may need to check these spots to find her during a game session.
