Steve Doocy, co-host of Fox & Friends, is originally from Algona, Iowa. He was raised in Industry, Kansas, and attended schools in various Kansas towns including Russell, Salina, Wakefield, and Clay Center. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in journalism
. As of 2025, Doocy has stepped back from full-time hosting on Fox & Friends and relocated to Florida, where he works three days a week focusing on special projects and remote segments for the show. Previously, he lived in New Jersey and commuted to the Fox News studio in New York City
