where is naval academy

The United States Naval Academy is located in Annapolis, Maryland. Specifically, it is situated on a 338-acre campus in Anne Arundel County at the confluence of the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay, about 33 miles east of Washington, D.C., and 26 miles southeast of Baltimore. The campus is known colloquially as "the Yard" and is a National Historic Landmark.
