Namibia is a country located in southern Africa on the southwest coast of the continent. It borders the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Angola and Zambia to the north, Botswana to the east, and South Africa to the south and southeast. In the far northeast, near the Zambezi River, it is close to Zimbabwe. The country covers an area of about 825,000 square kilometers and is known for its arid and desert landscapes, including the Namib and Kalahari Deserts. The capital and largest city is Windhoek, situated in the central highlands of the country
