where is jason in fortnite

Jason in Fortnite is part of the Fortnitemares 2025 event as a roaming boss on the main Battle Royale island. He spawns near watery or forested points of interest, specifically around a new area called Creepy Camps in the north-west part of the map, near a lake inspired by Crystal Lake from the Friday the 13th franchise. When players get close to Jason, a boss fight is triggered, and defeating him drops a Jason Voorhees Medallion that grants stealth-based perks and a mythic weapon, a machete. The fight can also trigger a mini-event with environmental hazards like rising fog or undead minions. This location is consistent for players to find and challenge him during the event.
