Women pee from the urethra, which is a small opening located just below the clitoris and above the vaginal opening in the vulva area. It is a distinct hole separate from the vagina and anus. The urethra is a short tube (about 4–5 cm long) that connects the bladder to this opening, allowing urine to pass out of the body
. To clarify the anatomy of the female genital area:
- The urethral opening is where urine exits the body.
- The vaginal opening is located just below the urethra and is used for menstrual flow, sexual intercourse, and childbirth.
- The anus is located below the vaginal opening and is where feces exit the body
Thus, urine does not come out of the vagina but from the urethra, which is a separate and smaller opening positioned between the clitoris and the vagina
