The first tower hit on 9/11 was the North Tower of the World Trade Center. American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower at 8:46 a.m. Eastern Time. It struck the center of the north face between floors 93 and 99, causing massive destruction and killing hundreds instantly including everyone on the plane and many inside the building.
