Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with a genetic form of Parkinson's disease called Parkin 2 in 2003. However, he did not publicly disclose his diagnosis until 2020, after suffering a bad fall in 2019 that required spinal surgery. He revealed he has a "mild form" of Parkinson's disease and became open about his condition in hopes of raising awareness. His wife Sharon Osbourne emphasized that it was "not a death sentence" but that it affects certain nerves in his body.
