John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. He was shot in Dallas, Texas, at around 12:30 PM while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza. Kennedy was rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:00 PM. The accused assassin was Lee Harvey Oswald.
