Brandon Blackstock was diagnosed with melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer, more than three years before his death on August 7, 2025. His diagnosis came after his divorce from Kelly Clarkson. He battled the cancer privately for over three years before passing away peacefully surrounded by family.
