- Early January through mid-February (after the first week of January).
- The day after President's Day through mid-March (before Spring Break).
- Mid-April until Memorial Day Weekend (late May).
- After Labor Day through early October.
- The second week of November (after Halloween and before Thanksgiving week).
- Weekdays, especially Monday through Thursday, tend to be less crowded than weekends.
- Among weekends, Sundays are usually less busy than Saturdays.
Additionally, the months generally considered less crowded are January, August, September, and November (except for Thanksgiving week, which is busy). January is mostly low crowds except the first week, and November has relatively relaxed periods early in the month. Fall (mid-September through mid-November) and mid-January through mid-March are the two lighter crowd seasons overall. Avoid school holiday weeks, weekends during holiday periods, and major holiday weekends like Labor Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, and Thanksgiving for the best chance to experience lighter crowds.
