Zoombezi Bay opened for the 2020 season with a phased reopening due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was open to Season Pass Holders and Gold Members on June 19, 20, and 21, 2020, and opened to all guests starting on June 22, 2020.
For 2025 context, the park opened its season on the weekend of May 17-18, 2025 for limited hours and then began daily operations starting May 24, 2025.
