Yellowstone National Park is open year-round, but access depends on the entrance and the season:
- The North Entrance (Gardiner, Montana) is open 24/7 all year round.
- The West Entrance (West Yellowstone, Montana) opens on April 18, 2025.
- The East Entrance (Cody, Wyoming) opens on May 2, 2025.
- The South Entrance (Jackson, Wyoming) opens on May 9, 2025.
Some roads and facilities open gradually with the entrances starting in mid- April to early May, weather permitting. The North Entrance is the only one accessible year-round to vehicles without seasonal closure limitations.
