The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts in late 2025:
- Volume 1 (episodes 1-4) will premiere on November 26, 2025
- Volume 2 (episodes 5-7) will premiere on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025
- The final episode will be released on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2025
All episodes will be available worldwide on Netflix at 5 p.m. Pacific Time on their respective release dates. This marks the first time the series releases its final episode separately from the rest of the season. In total, Season 5 will have eight episodes, continuing the story in the fall of 1987 as Hawkins faces new threats and the ultimate confrontation with Vecna unfolds.
