The game NBA 2K2 was initially released in the US and Canada on October 24, 2001, for the Sega Dreamcast. It was later released for other platforms in 2002: PlayStation 2 on May 23, Xbox on February 27, and Nintendo GameCube on March 20. In Europe, the Dreamcast version came out on March 8, 2002, and in Japan, the Dreamcast and PS2 versions were released on May 23, 2002.
