The Western Bulldogs have won the AFL Grand Final twice. Their first win was in 1954, and their second victory was in 2016 when they defeated the Sydney Swans by 22 points. The 2016 win was particularly notable as it ended a 62-year premiership drought for the club and they became the first team in VFL/AFL history to win the premiership from seventh place on the ladder.
