The Mayflower landed in America on November 21, 1620, according to the Gregorian calendar used today. However, the Pilgrims' own records show the date as November 11, 1620, based on the Julian calendar they used at the time. They first anchored near the tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, at what is now Provincetown Harbor, before settling at Plymouth later in December 1620.
