Borderlands 3 was released on September 13, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. It was later released for macOS on October 30, 2019, and for Nintendo Switch on October 6, 2023. The game initially had an Epic Games Store exclusivity for the Windows version before coming to Steam in March 2020.
