Powerball drawings are held three times a week: every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The drawing times vary by time zone, but typically they occur at 11:00 p.m. ET (Eastern Time), 10:59 p.m. ET, 9:59 p.m. CT (Central Time), or 7:59 p.m. PT (Pacific Time), depending on the location. Ticket sales usually close about an hour before the drawing, such as 10:00 p.m. ET or 8:59 p.m. CT on draw nights, to allow time for the drawing process.
