Littlefoot, the main character from "The Land Before Time," is an Apatosaurus, often called a "Longneck" in the films. This dinosaur is a long-necked herbivore, and although sometimes referred to as a Brontosaurus or Brachiosaurus, Littlefoot is most accurately identified as an Apatosaurus. In the franchise, the term "brontosaur" is still sometimes used for these characters, but scientifically, Apatosaurus is correct.
