The WPS PIN is an 8-digit combination of numbers and/or letters used by your wireless router to encrypt and connect your HP printer to your computer. When setting up your HP printer on a wireless network, you might be prompted to enter the WPS PIN to complete the setup. The WPS PIN can be found in the following ways:
- Look for the WPS PIN on the printer control panel or the information sheet that was printed during setup.
- Check the LED screen of the printer when prompted to enter the WPS PIN.
- If the above methods do not work, generate a new PIN by restarting your computer and going through the printer setup process again.
