SANCA Mission Statement
The mission of SANCA (South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence) is to address alcoholism and drug dependence by providing specialized, accessible, and affordable development, prevention, and treatment services. The organization aims to enhance the quality of life and restore the self-respect and dignity of persons affected by alcoholism and drug dependence
. SANCA’s national mission further emphasizes:
- Developing, consolidating, and sustaining outcome-based addiction services in South Africa through partnerships with government and other stakeholders.
- Facilitating the expansion and sustainability of these services via training and consultancy.
