Strength 50 is a new 50-minute class offered by Orangetheory Fitness that is designed to help members build lean muscle mass, improve form, and get stronger both physically and mentally. The class is a focused and complementary addition to the Orangetheory experience, building on the functional strength training that has been an integral component of Orangetheorys signature workout since it launched in 2010. Strength 50 is a balanced, whole-body workout that uses TRX, various types of weights, bands, and bodyweight exercises to help members build skill and strength. The class is divided into Total Body, Upper Body, and Lower Body segments and is led by expert instructors who coach on skill to develop all-round strength training ability. The class caters to all fitness levels and is designed to be a supplement to the Orange 60 total body classes with a focus of the day. The class is a global re-launch of Lift 45 and has been created based on feedback from a period of beta testing which the company says resulted in it gaining close to 10,000 waitlisted members.
