Smoking wet refers to smoking a cigarette or joint that has been dipped in or laced with liquid PCP or embalming fluid. Wet drugs are extremely dangerous and can have life-threatening effects, even with occasional use. The effects of smoking wet depend on factors such as the amount of the drug taken and the chemical makeup of the substance. Common side effects of smoking wet drugs include euphoria, adrenaline rush, confusion, difficulty concentrating, rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, and elevated heart rate. The immediate high caused by smoking a wet blunt or a wet cigarette doesn’t last long, but the long-term effects of PCP, such as memory loss, dysarthria, difficulty with thought, and depression can persist up to a year.
