Macro mode on an iPhone is a feature that allows you to take close-up photos and videos with your iPhone camera. The feature uses the Ultra Wide camera to capture macro photography, which is stunning close-ups in sharp focus. Macro mode is available on supported iPhone models, including iPhone 13 Pro and later models. To take a macro photo or video, you need to open the Camera app on your iPhone, then select Photo or Video mode. Get close to the subject, as close as 2 centimeters, and the camera will automatically switch to the Ultra Wide camera. You can also shoot macro slow-motion and time-lapse videos. If you want to control automatic macro switching, you can go to Settings > Camera, then turn on Macro Control. When you get within macro distance of your subject, a symbol appears on the screen. You can tap to turn off automatic macro switching, and tap it again to turn automatic macro switching back on.
