The word "computer" in Hindi is written as कंप्यूटर (pronounced: kampyūṭar). It is commonly used in the same form as in English, but sometimes it is also described as:
- संगणक (Sanganak) – meaning "calculator" or "computing machine"
- कम्प्यूटिंग मशीन (Computing Machine)
However, कंप्यूटर is the most widely used term in everyday language.
