Clash in Warzone is a limited-time game mode (LTM) that is essentially a large-scale Team Deathmatch combined with Domination. It features two teams of 52 players each, divided into squads of four, fighting in specific points of interest (POIs) on the map Verdansk. The mode involves fast-paced combat with no shrinking circle or last stand benefits. The main objective in Clash is to be the first team to reach 500 points within a 15-minute match. Points can be earned in several ways:
- 1 point per enemy kill
- 2 points per enemy kill with a special Double Down power-up
- 5 points per contract completed
- 10 points for capturing a Domination Point (flag)
- 10 points for capturing Bonus or Cash Crates
Clash matches occur in condensed areas of Verdansk with specific locations like Quarry, Boneyard, Farmland, and Promenade (East). Players spawn with their preferred loadouts for immediate action. The mode incorporates in-game events like Domination Points, Bonus Crates drops, Firesale events, Cash Crates drops, and Power Surge power-ups to keep the gameplay dynamic. There are also contracts available such as Scavenger, Recon, and an exclusive Search and Destroy contract, which involves planting a bomb on a Buy Station and defending it until it detonates or is defused. Vehicles such as Helicopters, Cargo Trucks, LTVs, and Polaris RZR Pro R4s can be used to navigate the map quickly. Overall, Clash provides an intense, team-based combat experience focused on aggressive engagements and objective control rather than survival, differentiating it from the traditional battle royale format of Warzone. This mode was reintroduced with the Warzone Season 4 update and is highly popular for its large player count and varied gameplay elements.
