Amazon Prime Lite is a membership plan offered by Amazon that is a cheaper and simpler version of their popular Prime subscription service. It offers some similar benefits to the original membership, but it does miss out on certain perks that are available to regular Amazon Prime members. - 5% cashback on purchases made using an Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card on their India website, excluding digital and gift card purchases, which earn 2% back.
- Members can stream unlimited videos, movies, and TV shows in HD quality with ads on two devices through Prime Video.
- Early access to lightning deals.
However, there are some differences between Amazon Prime and its lite version. While Amazon Prime offers complimentary same-day, one-day, and two-day shipping on eligible items, Prime Lites free deliveries are capped at two days. Additionally, compared to Amazon Prime, which unlocks ad-free movies and TV shows and access to Amazon Music, Lite members are subject to adverts and are denied access to Amazon Music, Prime Reading, Prime Gaming, and Prime Advantage benefits. If you primarily want a membership for shopping and delivery benefits, Amazon Prime Lite may be a good option for you.
