Mario Barrios is a professional boxer from San Antonio, Texas. He turned professional in 2013 and has held the WBA (Regular) super lightweight title from 2019 to June 2021. He is also ranked as the worlds ninth-best active super lightweight by The Ring as of October 2021.
According to the San Antonio Express-News, Barrios graduated from Southwest High School. In an interview with Premier Boxing Champions, Barrios mentioned that he grew to 57” during his senior year and then grew another four inches after graduating from high school. He now stands at 60” .
