The baby in Squid Game, known as Player 222 and the child of Jun-hee, survives the entire ordeal in Season 3. During the brutal final games, after Jun-hee gives birth under extreme conditions, the newborn is shockingly made an official contestant by the VIPs, turning the infant into a player in the game. Player 456 (Gi-hun) ultimately sacrifices himself by jumping off the platform to save the baby during the final "Sky Squid Game" challenge. This act makes the baby the winner of the Squid Game. The Front Man, showing some humanity, takes custody of the infant and later entrusts the baby and the prize money to his brother, Jun-ho, who is then the baby's guardian six months after the games conclude. Thus, the baby not only survives but is also declared the winner of the games and receives a future secured by the prize money and a guardian in Jun-ho.
