He reportedly fainted or passed out while driving his SUV on the Pacific Coast Highway, which caused his vehicle to swerve across multiple lanes and crash into a parked car. Simmons was hospitalized as a precaution but is now recovering at home. He posted on social media that he is completely fine and described the accident as a "slight fender bender" and thanked fans for their kind wishes. His wife, Shannon Tweed, mentioned that his medications were recently adjusted and that he needs to drink more water. Simmons is reported to be back to work already and has upcoming performances planned with KISS in November 2025.
