Generation Alpha refers to the group of individuals born between 2010 and 2024. This generation began being born in 2010, the year the iPad was launched, Instagram was created, and "App" was the word of the year. However, there is not yet a general consensus on the birth years of Generation Alpha, and some sources consider slightly different ranges. For example, the Australian Bureau of Statistics used 2010 as the end year of Generation Z in a 2021 Census report, which would make Generation Alpha begin in 2011. Nonetheless, most sources agree that Generation Alpha includes those born in the early 2010s.
