In Belgium, there are three official languages:
- Dutch – Spoken by about 60% of the population, mainly in the northern region called Flanders.
- French – Spoken by about 40% of the population, primarily in the southern region called Wallonia and in the Brussels-Capital Region.
- German – Spoken by a small community in the eastern part of Belgium, near the German border.
So, depending on where you are in Belgium, you might hear Dutch, French, or German.
