Disney Worlds Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed to assist guests who have difficulty waiting in the conventional standby queue at select attractions across Walt Disney World. While there is no specific list of disabilities or conditions that qualify for DAS, a wide range of conditions may be eligible. Here are some considerations when determining whether you or someone in your party may have a condition that qualifies for a DAS Pass:

  • Any adult or child with a disability that could endanger them, prevent them from fully enjoying the parks, or make it difficult to wait in long lines or conventional Disney ride queues may qualify for DAS.

  • Common conditions that may be approved for a DAS Pass include ADHD, autism, anxiety, and chronic health issues such as rheumatoid arthritis that make it difficult to walk or stand for long periods of time.

  • Disney determines what disabilities qualify for DAS based on a guest’s ability to wait in line, not their ability to stand in line. Most attraction lines are wheelchair accessible, and each attraction entrance includes information about how guests in wheelchairs or scooters may experience each attraction. If a line is not wheelchair accessible, guests with mobility issues will receive a return time comparable to the current standby wait time.

  • Guests with mobility-based disabilities (e.g. those who use a wheelchair or electric conveyance vehicle) are not eligible for DAS.

When registering for a DAS Pass, you don’t need to worry about providing medical documentation or other proof of disability. You can register for the DAS program before you arrive for your visit, or upon entering the park. Registration involves answering a few questions from a cast member.
