The generation that comes after the Baby Boomers is Generation X, also known as Gen X. Gen Xers were born between 1965 and 1980, and number around 65 million. They are currently approaching the middle of their working careers and potential peak-earning years. The generation that comes after the Millennials is Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012.
