The statutory guidance document "Keeping Children Safe in Education" (KCSIE) is made up of five different parts :

- Part 2: The Management of Safeguarding
- Part 3: Safer Recruitment
- Part 4: Handling Allegations Against Staff
- Part 5: Child-on-Child Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment
These parts collectively set out the legal duties and detailed procedures that schools and colleges must follow to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people under 18 in education settings across the UK
