is there going to be a peacemaker season 3

There is no official confirmation that Peacemaker Season 3 will happen. James Gunn, the series creator and co-chairman of DC Studios, has stated that while the Peacemaker character and some of the show's main characters will be back in the DC Universe, the format may not necessarily be a Peacemaker Season 3. Gunn mentioned that the story will continue in some form, but as of now, HBO Max has not renewed Peacemaker for a third season. Gunn also noted that the show might be ending with Season 2 or could continue in a different way connected to the larger DC Universe plans, including characters like Checkmate playing roles in future projects. So, although Peacemaker and its characters will return, there is currently no planned season 3 in the traditional series format.
