Iryna Zhuravska is a Ukrainian model and beauty pageant titleholder born on January 14, 1990, in Kyiv, Ukraine. She won the Miss Ukraine pageant in 2008 and represented Ukraine at the Miss World 2008 pageant, where she placed among the top 15 semi-finalists. At the time, she was a student majoring in English at Kyiv Pedagogical University. She has also worked as a model for various Ukrainian designers and appeared in TV commercials and music videos. Additionally, she is related to Vitaliy Zhuravsky, a Kyiv mayor-deputy and former presidential adviser, with some rumors about his influence during the Miss Ukraine contest, which he denied. Her Miss Ukraine crown was reportedly worth $500,000.
