The Missouri and Mississippi rivers meet in the state of Missouri, specifically at St. Louis. The confluence of these two great rivers occurs there, where the Missouri River joins the Mississippi River from the west side of the city. This location is also associated with Edward "Ted" and Pat Jones- Confluence Point State Park in St. Charles County, Missouri, which offers a view of the confluence.
