humans have been on the moon, so why haven’t humans visited any other planets in the solar system?

Humans have not visited other planets in the solar system primarily due to the extreme challenges of distance, travel time, and technological limitations. Other planets are much farther from Earth than the Moon, requiring long- duration space travel that involves substantial fuel, food, and equipment to sustain astronauts. Current rocket technology and life support systems are not yet capable of safely supporting human missions to planets like Mars and beyond for the extended periods required. Additionally, the high costs and complexity of such missions have so far limited crewed space travel to the Moon and low Earth orbit. NASA estimates human missions to Mars may be possible around the 2030s, but significant challenges remain in propulsion, spacecraft design, and human health management in space.
