To use a broom in Hogwarts Legacy, follow these steps:
- Unlock Your Broom
Progress through the main story until you complete the quest "Jackdaw's Rest." Then, attend your first Flying Class with Madam Kagawa and complete the tasks, including a lap around the castle with Everett Clopton. After finishing the class, you can buy your own broom from Spintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmeade for 600 Gold

Equip Your Broom
Once purchased, your broom will be equipped in your gear. To summon it, you must be outside of no-fly zones like Hogsmeade.- On Xbox, hold LB to open the tool wheel and press B to mount your broom.
- On PlayStation, hold L1 and press Circle to summon it.
- On PC, hold Tab and press 3 to equip the broom
- Flying Controls
While flying, use your normal movement controls to steer. You can also use a temporary speed boost by pressing LT (Xbox), L2 (PlayStation), Left Mouse Click (PC), or ZL (Switch)
- Upgrade Your Broom
After buying your broom, a side quest called "Flight Test" becomes available. Complete time trials with Iselda Reyes at the Quidditch Pitch, flying through rings to improve your time. Upon beating her record, return to Mr. Weekes to unlock broom upgrades for 1,000 Gold each. Additional upgrades require completing further time trials
