To turn off your active status on Instagram, follow these steps:
- Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
- Tap your profile icon in the bottom-right corner to go to your profile.
- Tap the three-line menu icon in the top-right corner.
- Scroll down and select Messages and Story Replies (or go to Settings > Privacy > Activity Status).
- Tap Show Activity Status.
