To stop sharing your location on Instagram, you can follow these steps:
- Open the Instagram app.
- Go to your Messages by tapping the arrow icon in the top right.
- Tap on the Map feature at the top of your inbox.
- Tap the settings (cog) icon in the top right corner.
- In the location sharing settings, choose "No one" to stop sharing your location.
- Tap "Update" or confirm your changes.
Note: Instagram's location sharing is off by default unless you opt-in. If you have enabled location sharing, only people you follow or select friends can see your location, and your location updates each time you open the app. Additionally, to fully prevent Instagram from accessing your location, go to your device's settings:

- Go to Privacy or Location Services.

This stops Instagram from tracking or sharing your location altogether. If you want to stop sharing your location in Instagram stories or live videos:
- Go to Settings > Story, Live, and Location.
- Set location sharing to "No one."
