how to put away weapon starfield

In Starfield, to put away or holster your weapon, you need to press and hold the reload button. On PC, this is the "R" key by default, and on Xbox controllers, it is the "X" button. Hold down this button for about half a second, and your character will holster whatever weapon they're currently holding. To bring the weapon back, you can tap the reload button again or use the shoot or aim buttons. This allows you to move around without having your weapon drawn, which can be useful in populated areas or to declutter your screen.
